Ummmmmmmm   why not just add the 80 Gig....and don't mess with the 8 gig?  I'm 
no hardware expert, but I don't think there's a limit to the number of HDs.  I 
think I have two scsi 10,000 rpms and two more IDE's on one of my old computers.
