Hi Don

It seems that we are standing on the same base now about the topology you
are considering.

One other thing about setting up a mail server.
Providing your ISP will allow you to set one up, you may need to have your
own domain.

About setting up the network and network file and print sharing, the first
puter I am think you should set it up on would be the one with XP PRO on it.
You will probably have to make a disk to use on the other puters during
their setup. When you set it up on the XP PRO, just follow the directions
for set up and use on the other puters.

Your router manual may have some valuable information in this regard.
