I HAVE been in contact with HP..and been the gamut of everything via e-mail. Someone else is supposed to call me..so far I haven't heard. But I could recontact and ask.. I doubt they would say no. I just never thoughta bout doing that. Thanks for the idea..it might work. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Judith" <jtb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, February 16, 2004 9:27 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: HP problem Problem she has is that HP won't supply the drivers, cause its XP, and XP has the drivers built-in for her printer... one of the things I don't like about the HP website driver support. ::: Troth ::: _____________________ Frankly if it were me, I would go to HP site and use their contact form for tech support and tell them to email me back with a zipped up driver file for my printer and tell them something is corrupted in XP. I would give the serial number of my HP Printer. The next step if they said "No" would be to request the name of their CEO and her email address. One thing I know as a former Revenue Officer with IRS -- the taxpayer who wrote the President or their Congress Representatives -- always got a quick response :-) Judith To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ For more info: //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ For more info: //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk
