I don't think this will help on this but when you reinstall AVG you only
have the one place to download. to add the other two change the url.ini file
to this.

[SERVER_NAME]
1=free.grisoft.cz
2=ftp.grisoft.com
3=www.grisoft.com

[SERVER_URL]
1=http://free.grisoft.cz/softw/60/fe
2=ftp.grisoft.com/pub/softw/60/fe/
3=http://www.grisoft.com/softw/60/fe/
Actual URL=3

The message that you are getting means your conection isn't fast enough to
connect.

Yours Hank

probably a AVG site problem --that program is known for that. You might try
changing the site you download from..there are two. Someome on here had the
directions for adding the second site--adding it to the program. I did when
I had it. It worked much better on the second one.

Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Grisoft AVG

Recently I have been getting the message below when going to the 'Update
now' button on the Grisoft AVG main page. This happens after receiving
a 'download update' message from Grisoft AVG. I try both the .com and
the .cz sites, but both are the same. I am connected to the net, and my
browser (Mozilla) is launched.

"An automatic connection to the internet could not be established.
Please manually establish a connection to download your update files
(this can typically be done by launching your Internet browser)"

Anybody got any thoughts, please? Is it my set up? my ISP? or is it
just one of those things?

TIA and cheers,

Rick H
