For Firefox (which doesn't care what viewer you use for PDF files), I installed an extension called PDF Download. It gives me full control over whether a PDF file is opened within the browser or is downloaded to my hard drive instead. No more guessing or having it do the opposite of what you actualy want. :) Peace, Gman http://www.bornagainamerican.org "The only dumb questions are the ones we fail to ask" ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sandi Beach" <sandib2@xxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, February 24, 2009 6:33 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Fwd: Re: Another reason to drop Adobe Acrobat Reader >I was going to ask if it worked in both Internet Explorer and Firefox but > went to the site and see that it does with an add on. > Guess I will go now and remove Adobe Acrobat Reader and then install > Foxit. > Sandi --------------------------------------------------------------- Please remember to trim your replies (including this sentence and everything below it) and adjust the subject line as necessary.
