Actually, I'm using 1.3 because that's the version that was available when I first started using it. I just never bothered updating it since it already does everything I could hope for. Funny thing about this is that I just happened to go to their site last night and downloaded the newest version. My intent was to save it for my next system rebuild and try it out then, but I may load it up in my sandbox and see if it offers anything I might want sooner than that. I'll do it within the sandbox because I do have a fear that they may one day decide to add an auto-update feature/bug to the app and I really don't care for that. lol If you want the older version, head over to oldapps.com and grab yourself the one I use. If you only use the Adobe one for reading PDF file, uninstall it before installing Foxit. That will prevent Adobe from trying to wrestle the file association back from the new app. :O) http://oldapps.com/old_version_Foxit_Reader.php Peace, Gman "The only dumb questions are the ones we fail to ask" ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jo Ann" <bookworm54@xxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, July 25, 2008 12:22 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Five Misunderstood Features in Windows Vista >I want to try Foxit.
