Wait a minute... isn´t 1,073,741,824 larger than 1,000,000,000???  So if 
they sell you 1,000,000,000 bytes you are actually getting 73,741,824 bytes 
extra for free.  Or did I get this wrong?  Its 2 am and my brain is fuzzy

This difference is because a gigabyte is 1,073,741,824 bytes but to save
money and to make their products sound larger and better than they really
are, manufacturers now refer to a gigabyte as 1,000,000,000 bytes.
