Pat, did your friend check his device manager in My Computer properties &
see if there are any ? marks anywhere after formatting. I did not have
everything format correctly after doing one, and it may just take doing a
repair or looking for updated drivers for the usb? or try another usb cord &
reboot?

My friend has an EMachine with ME on it.
He recently formatted it with his disks..now he cannot
get his interent connection to work.Hes using WarnerCable connection
his ethernet doesnt work but the cable man hooked him up through a usb
connection.
It all worked until he formatted.
I went here to reasearch it for him but where it says to follow the
extraction process
outlined here.Then I get lost because theres a whole list of things there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
