Win XP has a repair option. This is different then doing an "over install" or
a complete new install. The repair option, at least with my XP Pro CD, scans
for corrupt and missing files and replaces them from the CD. You should be
able to get to the repair function by running the XP CD. It should at some
point ask if you want to repair the existing installation of Windows. Sorry I
am coming in late on the thread.

I think you can do a over-install I don't think there is a repair but will
check this too! Thanks for the help! Sandy
