I used to have that problem, but only with one specific burning app (can't
remember which one). Does this happen to you regardless on what program you use
to do the burning? Also, when you say it refuses to burn, what happens? Does it
start the burning process and then give an error, creating a coaster? Or, is
something else happening, like the burner drive not showing up?
