I am with you Sandi....
Oops! I just realized I did not cut the bottom off my last two replies to
this list. I have just cut off the bottom of this one and will go sit in
the corner when I am done with this email...lol!

I live in Las Vegas and we use to go to Fry's about once or twice a week..if
for nothing else.just to drool........but, with the price of gas, we now
only go when we have to.

As a matter of fact, we just gassed up the van the other day..and we had not
gotten gas since Thanksgiving and had only put 200 miles on it! Costco is
3.3 miles away and Albertson's is closer than that!
We have all sorts of Casinos and restaurants as well was shopping centers
within a 3 - 5 mile radius of our home. Since we are retired, we do not
even go out every day. If we do not go out for 2 or more days we do go and
check the mail box which is just past the house next to ours.

We too shop on line a lot. Besides the regular places.... we check..

    Fry's Electronics www.frys.com
    Pacific Geek http://www.pacificgeek.com/

Both these places have newsletters/sales letters you can sign up for and
get..about once a week. They also often have free shipping deals at times.
I have purchased from both of them many times and not had a problem. Knock
on wood...knock, knock, knock!

I just did a quick peek and Pacific Geeks has a bunch of DVD burners for
around $40 and some less. Be careful though..they have a bunch of ROM
drives too..so be sure it is a burner....

Good Luck...
Rose
