I see only files from previous years. thanks, http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/files/ Christine ----- Original Message ----- From: "GMan" <gman.pctt@xxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, January 14, 2008 1:10 AM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Backup and latest Ghost (12.0) Sir Roger, The file is ready and awaiting download. You can find it at the following page. http://tinyurl.com/2rlzn8 You will most likely have to sign in to YahooGroups in order to get to the file. If you are not currently a member, you might want to consider joining to gain access to this and many other resources we have stashed away in there. :O) For anyone wondering what I'm talking about, I have put together a Zip file that contains all of the folders that I feel should be backed up before wiping out (reformatting) an old Windows XP installation that is ready for a reinstall/recovery. By saving these folders, you will be sure of saving at least MOST of what's important to you and any other users who work on your computer. Each folder includes a small text file describing the usual contents of that folder and some also include advice on how to copy the old stuff back into the new installation. I will eventually get around to expanding this zip file to include more and more instructions, but that will have to wait for another day (or week, month, etc.). :O) Peace, GMan http://reddit.com "The only dumb questions are the ones we fail to ask!" ----- Original Message ----- From: "RMB White" <roguer@xxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, January 13, 2008 3:51 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Backup and latest Ghost (12.0) > GMan! > > Thanks once more for another prompt and detailed reply. > > Answer to your para 1 is YES > > I await with baited breath your Zip file to Yahoo.
