Pat,
Where was I? Oh yeah, GMail's webmail interface is fine, but I like to
indent my paragraphs. Every time I do it on their webmail site, it selects
the Send button instead of indenting the paragraph. Unfortunately, I type
to fast to stop before the blasted thing sends the little I've typed so far,
so you folks might occasionally just get a single paragraph at a time until
I get used to slowing down at the end of each paragraph. LOL
Ahhh, caught myself THAT time. Anyway, I wanted to chime in that you've
received some bad info from that other group. For the most part, petitions
have no need to be "Validated". The idea behind most of them is to let some
entity know that a bunch of folks are not pleased. It may not change
Microsoft's mind, but it certainly WILL get their attention if enough names
are on it, especially if it's hosted by a well respected source like
InfoWorld. Those who shoot them down as invalid are just trying to prevent
the rest of us from causing positive change. It's VERY related to all of
the people who say you should never vote for an underdog in an election
because you're just throwing away your vote. Simple fact is, if everyone
voted for who they REALLY want in office, the last 5 or 6 presidents would
never have won and our country would have been much better for it.

If this petition sounds like a good thing to you, go ahead and add your
name to the list. After researching it a little too make sure it's legit,
I'll be doing the same. :O)

.
Peace,
GMan

The only dumb questions are the ones we fail to ask
.
