Lil,
    Richard is not talking about any of the Norton branded products.  He's
referring to Symantec AV Corporate edition, which is designed primarily for
businesses for use and is not related at all to the Norton bloatware they
market to their regular customers.  It's small, very fast and allows a level
of control that most AV apps hide from their users, including NOD32.

    I also suggest running Threatfire in addition to any installed AV
program to catch the junk that is released 'into the wild' before the AV
companies have a chance to update their definition files.  It works
heuristically (activity based), so there are no definition files involved.
As a result, it won't cause any problems with whatever AV is already
installed.
