Jim,
I know that all you have said is correct but please bear in mind that not
all of us have the latest u beaut computers etc. I would have thought that
it would be enough to tell the :expert" what I needed to keep and what could
go. At this point in my life I am stuck with what I have unless the
Government hands out the latest PC's with the pension. A burner is beyond me
at the moment. Lyn

The computer USER should know enough to back up important information
routinely.

The computer user should also KNOW what FORMAT & FDISK does BEFORE doing it.

An EXPERT should know enough to ASK the USER if the data is backed up
before doing the format.

Ultimately it's the user's responsibility !
