Hi, had to install new modem into old Gateway computer. Old modem is dead. This has windows 98 second edition. It says it is installed but won't work. Tried everything I know of to install it. Even took it out and put back in. Checked device manager and said it was there but would not recognize it when tried dial up. Any suggestions.
