first - I hope everyone is ok
after that massive hurricane!
It even hit us here in western
Pennsylvania. I lost power
last sunday night and
I just got it back!! It is
blamed on the hurricane - we
had wind gusts to 80 mph.
I can't even imagine what it
was like down in that main
hurricane area after how it
was here!
on to my problem!
Just before we lost power - I
don't believe it had anything
to do with that,
I came in to turn the computer
off and Outlook Express said
it had an error and had to
close. When I restarted it, my
in box was gone - well, lets
say, all of my saved emails in
my inbox were gone! POOF!! it
had only 4 new emails in it.
So now after these days
without power, I booted my
computer and opened OE, and it
brought in new emails, but all
of my old inbox emails are
gone.
Is there a way to get them
back? or did it delete my
original inbox dbx file? that
is my guess - but I thought I
would ask, just in case.
