Hi Carl,
This error says that that is the wrong version of IE for xp.
Can't use it. xp has it's own version of version six.

On another note, I couldn't get the xp setup program to work in windows,
options, install.

Sp1 should be able to be uninstalled in add/remove programs, in control panel.
