that may explain why he doesn't recall having a disk.  I haven't gotten
started on this box yet.  they went out of town for a month and he brought
it to me on their way out.  as soon as I get a little better caught up at
work I plan on diving in.

     You won't believe this, but the person bought this machine new and it
had XP on it. He said no way ( he uses XP at work and hates it, they have
had alot of problems with XP ) and wanted 98, so I made it 98.
    Oh by the way the new HP machines have the OS on a hidden partition, you
do not get a disk. Most of the new machines have burners in them and they
expect you to burn the OS disk.
