Mike,
I prefer to hear from you earlier on Saturday because i have prep to do
that takes me all morning to get ready for the Social. The food we have
planned for dinner Saturday has to be started the night before to be ready
in the crock pot for Saturday. If you could let me know as soon as you know
if you need to cancel the Social due to your driveway or water running in
your wash or mushy ground, that would be so helpful.
Also, if it is more convenient and preferred by Mike, Sam and I have been
talking about possibly moving the Social to another date and if it is a
date that already has another event, then moving that other event to
another later date as well. But until we do cancel, it is preferred to have
the Social this Saturday, over moving it just because our Saturday line up
for this Spring is really packed with only a few dates open in April and
May. The rest of the Saturdays from this weekend forward are filled,
especially for me. I appreciate everyone's patience while the group is
debating on what to do.
We also have to keep in mind that if it is muddy or too wet at Mike's, even
if his drive way is alright for driving on, there will be mud and more dirt
dragged into his home, playing Darts this year. Plus, with the dampness, it
could be very cold standing out there tossing the darts. Oh, and I have a
super Dart Trophy lined up for this year's dart game! I was chatting with
my Trophy maker and they showed me some great ideas for this year's Dart
Trophy. The winner may be offered to pick the color scheme but I'm
designing the main, beautiful part of the Trophy... I can't wait to share
it with everyone. Nothing has been ordered, yet, in case we HAVE TO cancel
/ move the Social to another date.

ABC TV says the chance of rain for Thursday is 80% and breezy, Friday 90%
and breezy, and for Saturday it’s 30% with gusty winds.
They state an accumulation of from a half to a full inch of rain on
Friday. The farther north you look the worse it gets, with snow estimates
measured in feet in the high country.
It’s too early to bother with a spectrum of sources, but this long range
look is pretty bleak.
