Well, Terri......the Earth's axis moves in a circle (precession) and thus
points to a different location in the sky over 26000 years....the Earth's
axis is tipped 23.5 degrees relative to our orbit around the sun and
this,changes +/- about 1 degree over 41000 years, and then the eccentricity
of the,Earth's orbit changes over about 100000 years.....look up
Milankovich Cycles....all very slowly....so yes things are changing
periodically but very slowly......
The Earth's MAGNETIC pole is wandering around a bit, we don't know the
periodicity of that because it has been so erratic in the past ( see Earth
paleomagnetism).....
These may affect climate all right, but only over thousands or millions of
years.. ..not in a few years....

My brother Brian, in Branson MO said he had a patient come in to his
Chiropractic office today and the patient said that the pole that the Earth
spins on has moved 800 miles, so now the sun sets differently. The big
dipper is a little bit farther away and that's why it's warmer
temperatures.
Could this be true?
Can you find out and let me know so i can let him know?
