5 or 6pm would greatly help me get packed in time for the event.
I'm so tired, i don't know if i'm coming or going and i'm on my 2nd energy
drink for the day.
: (
and tomorrow is another big EARLY event.

Terri, last week you asked me for the update to be at 8 pm and not in the
morning. If you want it earlier, I will do the update at 5 pm. Any sooner and
it will not be as accurate.
I will email you at 5 pm. Take care, Sam

Is 8pm when we get the change over of updates?
I ask because that is kinda late for me to decide to pack my scope tonight
because i have to go get it from Annette's house. We had to do a quick unload/
reload for Saturday's event, getting stuff out of the View we didn't need for
astro day... and so my scope is over at Annette's and i wasn't bring it back
until i knew we needed it for tomorrow.
Plus i have to find my solar filter if i'm going to be outdoors instead of
indoors.
8 is fine, earlier is better, if you think you can still get a good forecast
reading.
I'm mostly concerned about cloud cover, which i don't see any in weather
underground
and wind speeds.
historically, last year, the winds were in gusts up to 17mph, we did the event,
but it wasn't that great to be viewing through the scope with the winds
shooting across our eyes.
That's why i want to see if we need to be indoors this time.
ok, i await your forecast Sam
Don, if you want to give me what you see, sometime earlier today, please do, so
i can start packing for the event, and then change it if needed.
Thank you both.
have a super day!
Terri
I figure, Sam, you are waiting until 8pm because you might not be home till
then. If that is the case, i will take what every you send me, when you have a
moment to do it.
What a weekend, i'm still worn out from Thursday and Saturday, and a bit from
Sunday at the Jam.
I must have made more mistakes yesterday than ever, at a jam, due to being so
tired.

Good morning Sam and Don,
I need some help figuring out if we are inside or outside for tomorrow's event.
At the moment, here's the plan and what i"m asking from you is an updated
weather forecast to know if we should be indoors or outdoors tomorrow during
the Career Day event.
Attending this event is:
* Matt Kohl to help with handouts
* Terri, to do Q & A and demos if indoors
and solar scope 8" if outdoors
* to do PST if outdoors, and help with handouts indoors
* Mike is indoors, for both situations
If the winds are too high for the safety of the PST, as it is the lighter of
the 2 scopes:
We are Indoors .....
* We will be given 2 tables, of which I want to display my Astro Scan and the
PST by the display tables
* We will have a table of handouts that William and Matt manages
* We will have the Solar demo i brought to ASC this past Saturday and Q&A for
the kids.
* Mike will have his own table.
If the winds are ok for the PST, then we will do the normal - except what i do
this time, which is:
We are outdoors....
* William with the PST
* Matt with Handouts and crowd control
* Terri with 8" solar capable scope
* Mike indoors
Here's the previous forecast I received from Sam for tomorrow, Tuesday May 2 at
Rancho Gabriela in Surprise from set up of 7am to pack up of 3pm. Please inform
me of the weather for tomorrow so i can decide which way to pack the car. Only
one way works, i can't fit both options and then choose once we get there. This
school is ALWAYS windy for Career Day.
Thanks for your weather update assistance. I would like to know as soon as you
can pin down a forecast so i can let the teacher know which way we wish to be
involved in this year's event.
