I have checked the weather and it looks very cloudy Sat night. Also a chance
of rain. You can't get an accurate picture this far out. I will do a detailed
weather analysis Thurs morning. Take care, Sam

Good morning to all PAS Members,
I'm working on the upcoming events for the rest of July.
If you haven't already, please RSVP at the provided links
so we know if you wish to attend, and who to inform in case
weather cancels the event.
July 14 Saturday:
http://www.pasaz.org/forums/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=2681&day=2018-7-14&c=1
I'm monitoring the weather, (not as well as Sam does, but) I'm looking ahead to
Saturday and everything I see says Saturday's star party at Mike's will be
cancelled due to rain and/ or excessive clouds.
Since we have a bunch, and i mean a bunch of RSVP's for the July 14 star party,
I'd like to get a handle on knowing the weather situation sooner than later for
that date.
The event is NOT cancelled yet. As you know, looking at the weather this far
away from the event, is not accurate enough to call the event on or off.
Here's the Forum Thread to see the list of attendees from
the public:
http://www.pasaz.org/forums/showthread.php?p=3204#post3204
We have a ton of public RSVP's, but hardly any scopes attending July 14.
Current Attendance from PAS is:
Mike - let's hope he is attending
William & Terri
Rick 8"
Ted - scope size?
That's hardly enough scopes for the number of public attendees...
Current Count as of this morning is:
--------------
Next event:
Saturday July 21:
Public Lecture at Mike's
Potluck at 6pm
Lecture at 7pm
and Special Mars Viewing after Lecture
http://www.pasaz.org/forums/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=2678&day=2018-7-21&c=1
Current attendance to this event is:
William & Terri
Sam & Frank
---
Sunday July 22:
Bookmans Telescope Workshop
3:30 to 5:30pm
As of today, July 10, I have no public RSVP's to attend this event but I'm sure
the RSVP's will come in soon.
Current PAS RSVP's are:
Terri & William
Bruce
Sam

And the last event of July is:
July 28 Saturday:
Public star party at Bookmans
8pm to 10pm
Attempting to view:
Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Moon, and Venus
http://www.pasaz.org/forums/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=2519&day=2018-7-28&c=1
We currently have 1 public RSVP so far,
and only William and Terri - no scope, are attending this event.
This event could become cancelled due to weather,
and/ or lack of Telescope Attendance.
------------------------
I wish to finish out the list of upcoming events in this email with the last 2
events
scheduled (that i'm aware of) for Summer 2018... and that is:
Aug 12 Sunday:
PAS Members only are invited to Join Sam at Mike's home in Carefree - RSVP is
highly suggested. There will be NO Bathroom facilities or indoor access. But,
Sam plans to have a great viewing of the Perseids Meteor Shower at this
location.
This is Now listed on the PAS calendar at this link, private calendar only.
And Sam is the main RSVP person for the event.
Your RSVP is highly requested so Sam knows who to expect in attendance.
William & Terri can not make it, as William works the next morning and gets up
at 4am.
There is NO Potluck. It's just a meeting to view the Perseids Meteor Shower.
http://www.pasaz.org/forums/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=2702&day=2018-8-12&c=2

And Aug 19 Sunday:
Bookmans Telescope Workshop from 3:30 to 5:30pm
http://www.pasaz.org/forums/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=2523&day=2018-8-19&c=1
I have no RSVP's at this time, but usually they start coming in about 2 weeks
before the event.
RSVP's from PAS Members are:
William & Terri
Bruce
