It is awful. I know people who have paid them money to "fix" their
computer.

PAS Members,

Mike had this call a few weeks ago and then my daughter just got it, just
now.

A guy calls, with a thick Indian accent and says your computer is at risk
and he needs to install some kind of software to your computer and needs
access, and you give him access and he does a bunch of terrible things to
your computer, including access info he isn't supposed to be into. I
believe he says he is with Windows.

The number is 579 402 0000

It shows up as coming from Canada, or at least this one does, if you have
caller ID.

Please, don't give him access. It's a scam.

Have a safe computer day!
Terri
