I set up my iPhone to use NightCap Pro’s meteor shower mode. It turns out I
ran out of battery at 2:40 last night, but did capture a meteor on at least two
pictures between 2:30AM and 2:40AM. This weekend I’ll run through all of the
pictures and see how many meteors I captured. I started the photography run at
9:50PM. Nightcap Pro takes 720 five second photos an hour and saves any that it
thinks have a meteor on them. I have 1144 pictures to transfer to my computer
and view to see if there is a meteor. Unfortunately airplanes, satellites and
other things also get saved so it will take me some time to scan through
everything. I’ll include an attachment later in the weekend with any meteor
photos.

35 meteors in 20 mins, an effective rate of 105 per hour. It was a bortle 4.3,
