Anyone wanting to RSVP their attendance to these events, please do.
And if you are bringing a scope, or additional people with you, please
add that to the RSVP.
I appreciate knowing that info, and we like to track how many people attend
the events, public and PAS members.

You will receive THREE copies of this email.
If you don't receive three, and you are supposed to be on all three lists,
let's work to resolve this so you get all the emails you need to receive.
I'm only sending out a *3 list email* again because some of you weren't
sure you were on all the lists you need to be on.
You have to be on the 3rd list mentioned above, just in case there is an
emergency email i need to send out to all current PAS members.
You don't have to be on the other two lists, unless you want to know what
is going on with PAS.
The main contact list is the PASMembers list serv. That is the list you
should be on as most of the time, everything i send out only goes out to
that list.
However, with new events, canceled events, the PASAnnounce list is used,
but not exclusively. Meaning, some people choose only to be on the
Announcement list as they dont' want to receive the many emails involved in
a discussion list.
Choose your level of participation with PAS. After this email, i plan not
to message all three lists again until it is very important to do so. The
site was down earlier and some of you may have tried to RSVP for evnets I
just posted to the site. So, I felt it was important to let you know the
Site is back on line.

Thank you for your patience. I'm cleaning out my contacts list of those
emails that don't work any more.
If you find that too many emails come to you from the PASMembers list, you
can make a filter to send them to a folder and review them at your leisure
rather than have them in your inbox. I do that, so when i have time, i pop
over to that folder and look through the emails to find out who shared
something.
Also, as long as the topic stays Astronomy, you can feel free to share just
about anything on the PASMembers list, so if you find a really good deal on
something, please share it. You never know when your fellow astronomer may
need the good deal you found on a green laser, or eyepiece, etc.
And I love that Alex finds things on line to share with the group, about
astronomical stuff. It is helpful to have others looking for data to send
through the list serv and share with the members.
The only stipulation is it has to be astronomy related. Any topic within
astronomy is fine, physics, rockets, gear you have for sale (as PAS Members
can post for sale items through the list because the list is for PAS
Members only to view).
I'm sorry to have to send one more set of 3 emails, but I appreciate your
patience as i get my email google contacts updated so that i don't keep
getting returned, undeliverable emails and Mailer Daemons.
Plus, we have some awesome, fantastic PAS Members who have been having
trouble receiving the emails from the list servs. And it appears they got
bumped off the list. Not by me. I can remove members (but not add them) but
i haven't touched the lists since February when i kicked off eveyrone who
wasn't a current PAS Member for 2016. I don't know what is going on with
the list. Remember, you get what you pay for and FREELISTS.org, is just
that. FREE. Some members think I can control what goes on with the list
serv, but i can not and sometimes it fails. Just be patient with it. I'd
like to find another way to set up a list serv that could be more reliable.
I'm open for suggestions.
