Subject: [pasmembers] New PAS Brochure
Several months ago Terri agreed to do a new brochure for our Astronomy Club.
She has been very busy, so I just made up a rough draft of a brochure to help
get her started.
Attached is the rough draft. Please send any suggestions to Terri for
additions, or deletions to the brochure. I would like to get this finalized by
our next Meeting
of the Minds on Aug 12th, 4 weeks from now. I have photos of star parties, and
observatory field trips that can be placed on the brochure, but Chet has nice
photos of planets that
we should use. Don and Terri also have good photos of PAS star parties.
I just don't want this to drag on much longer. Anyone having ideas please let
Terri know asap. Otherwise I am asking Terri to try to put this in final in the
next few weeks.
Kevin Witts came up with a 2 1/2 page document outlining many good reasons to
join PAS. Instead of trying to attach that to a new brochure, I suggest we put
a link to his very professional document on our
home page of the PAS website. I am asking Kevin to send his document to the PAS
membership list serve so people can make any suggestions for additions for
deletions.
