It's amazing that we can have such lovely skies right now, and then a horrible forecast for tonight. The sun is beautiful outside right now, and other than it being really cold, the sky is blue, and I just can't see a terrible storm taking that away. Hang in there. WE don't really hafe to cancel until about 2pm. So, if you want to keep discussing this and give me an update around 2pm... i'm ok with that. And i'm only doing 2pm because school gets out, however, according to Diana, if you were reading the updates I put in the forums yesterday, she is having her event with or without us. So, we can actually probably cancel as late at 4pm, which is our normal. Do we want to keep discussing this until 4pm to be sure we really need to cancel. I have to leave here around 4:30 when William gets home to make it there by 5pm. So, I think the latest we should wait to call it, would be 4pm, or maybe 3pm if we all agree on that. Input requested. I appreciate all your help watching the waether. And it does appear that this is a really difficult decision this time. I want to do this event. I've been hoping for clear skies to do it. I was looking forward to sharing the night sky and having pizza, and enjoying the company of the Telescope Team members who are my friends & a great bunch of people to work with (all of you!). Good friends are like stars. You don't always see them, but you always know they are there. Terri Phoenix Astronomical Society Event Coordinator Visit the P.A.S.
