I have found that the Fountain Hills area on the far west end of Shea Blvd has
a surprisingly good sky considering it's fairly close to the city. He might
be able to get out there in 30 minutes. Roger

Leah, He should observe from 1 am to 4 am tomorrow (Friday) morning, when

moon has set but there may not be as many meteors as early Friday morning.
He should try a dark spot northeast of the valley. He can't do Mike's place,
since it is for PAS members only. I would suggest driving northeast of
Phoenix, like on the road to Payson, and pull off the road and take a look for
a few hours. The turnoff to Saguaro lake might be best. That should be less
than an hour from the Biltmore. But he should not go alone. Take care, Sam

Yeah. Drive north about three hundred miles.

Hi -
I will be staying at the Arizona Biltmore this weekend and short of sneaking
onto their golf course at night, I'd like a recommendation on somewhere not too
far outside the city where I could go to watch the show.
Any thoughts?
Thank you!
