Can you make an announcement related to the NEXT total eclipse of the Sun in
Chile in July 2019. I have organized an expedition for this and had planned to
announce it at the meeting but we have to go out of the country in the morning
and so I cannot do it. This will be my 48th solar eclipse expedition. I posted
this trip on the internet on Friday but unfortunately all 32 spaces were
completely sold out by last night. We are working on the 49th RING OF FIRE
EXPEDITION to India in December 2019 for the annular eclipse there and will be
posting it in June.
I would comment that this year on our 47th solar eclipse expedition, we have 2
rooms open in Nebraska in case anyone from PAS would like to join us. It is the
last chance as we will have to close out the trip in about 3 weeks time. Paul
Facuna is the only member from PAS who has signed up so far.
