If we are set on road runner park for this event, i'd like to advertise it

I recall someone told me I should be sharing free events through the List

so that's what i'm doing. And it DID say that it is NOT a PAS event.

Dear PAS members. PAS has our own National Astronomy Day event on Oct
8, 2016. It is on our calendar. Kevin should get out press releases once we
pick our location and time of our event. I would suggest Roadrunner Park
again, since that worked out great for International Astronomy Day. Another
possibility is Coyote Basin Park where we observed the Lunar Eclipse a year
ago.
There will be a quarter moon ideal for observing. In fact it is also
International Observe the Moon night. Sunset will be a little after 6 pm
that night so I would suggest setup at 6 pm and view from 6:30 pm to 9 pm.
If others would like to suggest another location, please do. If there are
no other suggestions then I would recommend Roadrunner Park. Terri and
Kevin I recommend getting the details on our PAS website Calendar by Sept
