The senate can separately vote to bar Trump from holding any federal office in
the future. The applicable provision of the Constitution provides:

"Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from
Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or
Profit under the United States: but the Party convicted shall nevertheless be
liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment and Punishment, according to
Law."

The issue is whether such a disqualification vote can take place in connection
with an impeachment initiated while he is in office but after he is no longer
in office by reason other than removal in an impeachment proceeding.

There is no plan to remove Trump while he is in office. Some people are talking
about 100 days. You can't remove a person from an office he doesn't hold.

I heard 3 things about antifa and blm: 1. Wednesday: Report: FBI was hold
members of the groups. 2. Thursday: A news organization retracted its report
that antifa member were under arrest. 3.McCarthy denied that antifa had
anything to do with the law-breaking.
