I have to start looking to get the vaccine. Jefferson’s Ferry (300 residents)
had a clinic come here and they all got their shots in Feb. So I’m on the 8th
day of quarantine. In my old place (Oneonta in central NY) would have to go
60-70 miles to get a shot. Looked into it but places always came up
“unavailable.” Here on Long Island there are many places nearby—just have to
start looking. Been so busy unpacking hadn’t thought about in until yesterday
when I went out for the first time. My Q is for using the center and
facilities, but I can leave the premises, so my sister and I went shopping and
to dinner at Outback. Had a bloomin’ onion. Yum! Is Outback
international—anyone know?

I’ve had a couple friends of mine that got it weeks ago, and last week spent
a nice time in the Virgin Islands...
I’m ready to get it and feel more at ease getting out again and a bit more
back to normal...
Of course I’ll have the mask too for awhile longer, but I am so ready to
ditch that PITA thing in hopefully, the near future.
I really want to be able to go to the food and music fests that have all been
pushed to the fall...
