Not from me that I remember... a post from Jo in 2003 said Pat made it, and
your post from 2003 US Foodfest listed all the things you forgot to do (sounds
familiar for me). Recipe may have come from Peter as I had been on a trip to
Tasmania and purchased native spices from there, especially the native to
Tasmania Pepperberry.

Native Pepperberry Potato Cake
------------------------------
6 native pepperberries
5gm lemon myrtle
60gm melted butter
4 large potatoes, peeled, boiled, still firm, sliced thin 60gm parmesan flaked
Squash the pepperberries into the melted butter, and add the lemon myrtle.
On an oiled tray, arrange 4 piles of potato slices, brushing each layer with
the flavoured butter.
Finish the top with the parmesan.
Bake at 180C for 15 minutes.
Grill the top to brown, if desired.

Changes we made:
- forgot to preboil the potato, so had to bake for much longer!
- omitted the parmesan, so we could better taste the lemon myrtle
and pepperberries
- didn't make individual cakes, but made a double quantity just
layering into a baking dish.

Don't think it was my recipe originally.
May have come from Steve.

Looking at the potato recipe, I see that it was Chris’s recipe, too. I’ll send
you the 2 bush spices if you send your address to jomelmer@xxxxxxxxx
