We stayed in Blackheath in March (just b4 the start of COVID outbreak) and
interestingly, many restaurants were shut already (maybe close contacts of
early cases). Anyway, we had dinner at Cinnabar, which had a very interesting
Moroccan influenced menu which we enjoyed. However, the dishes were small for
the price, though thoroughly delish. Worthy meal of something very different…
Yes, take your food as not much of a supermarket at Blackheath. Some very nice
bush walks and outlooks. Ha ha …very noisy ciccaddas – you might need earplugs..

Hi Steve,
We’re staying in Blackheath. We are really looking forward to our break. Relax
and sight-see (bushfires willing!) and generally don’t think about work. 🙂
But I expect over the Christmas/New Year period a lot of places will be shut so
we’re playing it safe by bringing a lot of food and planning to make our own
breakfasts. I made sure to book a place with a kitchen! Still, I don’t want to
be spending all day in the kitchen either, so will bring some pre-prepared
meals.
