Hi Steve,
Facebook doesn’t need you to be a member for it to track you. Most websites
these days add code that allows Facebook to track you. I do use Facebook but
try to limit the damage with aggressive ad blockers both inside and outside of
Facebook. You can guarantee Facebook already had a profile on you, as it will
for Dohn who is also not on Facebook.
Back to food, your turducken sounds amazing. I guess I will have to finalise
whatever I’m taking away with us to the Blue Mountains over Christmas/New Year,
but my brain is dead after my team’s presentation to the executive board today,
then drinks afterwards, then to Kingston for a massive Turkish meal with Dohn
(and a couple of wines), and now home with another glass of wine in hand…

I joined Facebook as “Prickly Pete” purely for advertising my side hustle of
selling Cactus and Succulents I propagate – to join a local sell FB group. I’m
having a mass driveway pot sale this weekend…
So amazed that so many possible friends were people I work with, wife’s
friends, workmates wives….even though I didn’t use any other social media on my
device and it wasn’t my name at all, location mostly always off…big
brother/sister sees and records all… hence why I stay away from such things
(other than Ozfood)…
Going forward, this weekend I’m doing the Turducken off sorts – I’ll be making
the eggplant and sweet potato gravy, veggies roasted in duck fat– should be
interesting. Jens making some sort of frozen dessert thingy I don’t know what
yet.
