Kelly, my people tell me that you can just keep "re-meeting" over and over on
Zoom, and it stays free.
Regarding time zones, Ive been giving talks at 10 pm Spain time, which is 4 pm
east coast USA, 1 pm west coast. The hard part is roping in Australia.

Hi Estalla,
No big deal. I was asking if everyone had iPhone…if so, we could have used the
built in FaceTime for video conferencing….comes free with phone, you can do
group calls, no limits that I Know of.
But it won’t work on Android.
So, maybe Zoom…although Vicki mentioned there are time limits on it for the
free version.Hmm…well darn, I had thought this would have been easier than it
is turning out to be.
I think we’re going to have to pick a time window, and not do the drop in/out
as you please during a whole day.
Being we’re in different time zones…..in different parts of the world, I wonder
what the best time spread would be to be during everyone’s natural waking
hours….?

I've been giving talks and interacting with artists via Zoom, it's quite a
good program, but I wouldn't know how to set up a gathering.
I'm Android, like most people in Spain. Does it matter?

Yep….
It makes things easier just to not be on them.
That being said, I did relent and set up Zoom for a Thanksgiving visits with my
cousins…so, I do have that if we want to use that instead of a Group FaceTime
(does everyone have iPhones or some have androids?)….for our cocktail party.:)

Yup, they’re good at figuring out who you are.I read that FB even builds
shadow profiles on people who aren’t even members of FB, which I think should
be outlawed.
They gather a ton from cookies on all the websites out there that integrate
with them.
I have plugins that I try to use to block them everywhere I go online

I think we should have a virtual cocktail party to celebrate this occasion! I
can bring a couple of pitchers of rebujito (half 7-Up, half dry sherry) and
some finger tapas like Spanish cured ham, aged manchego cheese and a big
platter of chilled jumbo shrimp with ali-oli for dipping. Anyone else? Julia?
Kelly? Hal? Vicki? Stacey? No face-masks required !!! Estela
