The best taste fixer was left out: for anything stewy, add about a tablespoon
of tomato paste straight from the can or tube. Not tomato sauce, but tomato
paste. It will not make your dish taste tomato-ey, but it pumps up the
dimension. You can add more as needed, it's magical.
