Merry Christmas all,
Just cannot figure out Zoom.
What a Christmas, just when things get worse you don’t believe it can get
worse. Was talking on Skype to my sister in law in Canberra when suddenly
disconnected, whole of Southport plunged into a blackout..,no electric, could
not charge my iPad,iPhone, let alone make toast or coffee. I was cracking up
in the end and said to Geoffrey I think they have got overloaded with everyone
trying to cook their turkeys, Power finally just restored so the turkeys can
start cooking again. I just kept telling myself it is not the end of the world
and there are far more people much worse off.
My little M&S turkey roast is still defrosting for this evening as we operate
on Spanish eating times.
Kelly, Estela, Jo and all alone, sending hugs and to let you know I am thinking
of you. Chris, your Eve meal looked super. Had forgotten which part of the
world you are in🤫😍
So grateful for Vicki trying to get us hooked up on Zoom and so happy she and
Dohn have managed to get away for a break.
Apart from Zoom, I have been trying forever to get my brother in Canberra into
Skype and WhatsApp but he won’t as I think I said Kelly, he can’t due security
as he works IT etc, with Defense but finally just an hour ago we got connected
via Skype but he did say if anything weird came up he would delete me.
Apparently WhatsApp can detect lots.,nothing private and so big brother scary,
On a happier not now that electric back on about to heat up some M&S party food
for lunch.
