The numbers are different but there are still over 100 people missing that
could be buried in the bottom of the mess. BUT, this was only about 20% of the
building. Don’t know about any body else but I would be out of there and never
going back in the rest of what was a very large building. It sure seems it is
going to take a while before I can move all the fallen building. If anything
major comes up, I will update -- -Hal

Subject: [oz-food] Re: Many feared dead after Florida beachfront condo collapses
Oldtimers here will remember about 10 years ago when I went to Miami to give a
talk, and reported on the great Cuban food. They put me in an old motel in
Surfside on a road parallel to Collins, and I had to get off the bus at 86th
St. That's about a block from the collapsed building. Things like this really
make you think....

Oh my goodness... Hal, thinking of you and your thoughts.
I only heard of this when I was talking to my sister in law in OZ ...had the
news on here but must have missed this bit. How horrible as If the world
isn’t’t mad enough already.
So close to where I lived in Fort Lauderdale for 20 years and many a time down
the dreaded white knuckle I 95 to Miami.
