If you smoke Corn Beef you have a Pastrami which I enjoy more than Corn Beef.

That looks yummy, Kelly! I have been wanting to make corned beef for quite a
while (want to have it on hand for Reuben sandwiches, which Dohn has taken a
shine to and which we both enjoy, so will start making sauerkraut again too)
but we’ve been away from home for 6 weeks. Back now and starting to think about
meal planning…

It looks interesting if I can be bothered to get beer for it…
As Julia mentioned, silverside is the cut typically used for corned beef in
Australia. It’s fantastic in the pressure cooker, as she also said. Growing up,
if we were having ’silverside’ for dinner that meant ‘corned silverside’ – the
‘corned’ was implied. In the last decade and a bit since I started cooking for
myself I’ve made a couple of dishes with uncured silverside as well.
I don’t think I have ever cooked brisket.
Working from home today (Wednesday) so might get a chance to actually COOK
something for linner if I’m not too busy.

In England corned beef is something what I tell Geoffrey looks like canned dog
food, maybe akin to Spam..not spam techie 🤔😜🤣 I will not eat it. G loves
corned beef hash..better Google that Kelly😜. In the UK corned beef is called
salt beef but I never see it and a corned beef and tomato’s sandwich was a fave.
I used to cook corned beef aka silverside in my pressure cooker but that was
many years ago.
Am back in Spain. Phew what a Covid travel nightmare, post to follow later.
