[ornl-run-walk] Two Team UT-B 5k opportunities

I wanted to draw your attention to two upcoming races for which "Team
UT-Battelle" teams are forming. Unfortunately, they do take place on the same
day, but with one being a trail run and the other one paved, there is hopefully
something for everyone's running preference.
The first race is "Hoof It for STAR". STAR (Shangri-La Therapeutic Academy of
Riding) provides therapeutic experiences using horse related activities for
children and adults with disabilities or other challenges. They also have a
wonderful Heroes to Horses program that works with Wounded Warriors. The race
starts at 8:00 am on September 20th, in Lenoir City. Additional details can be
found on ORNL Today or on the Knoxville Track Club (KTC) website.

The 2nd race is the Dream Connection's "Running for a Dream" 5k. The Dream
Connection fulfills special dreams of East Tennessee children who are dealing
with life threatening or chronically debilitating illnesses. The race will
begin at 8:00 am on September 20th at Regal Cinema in Turkey Creek. Further
details can also be found on ORNL Today or on the KTC website at

Team UT-Battelle shirts will be available for all runners/walkers signing up
under "Team UT-Battelle" for either race. Please see team captains for
t-shirts. Hopefully, each group will gather before the race for team photos.
