All,
I wanted to draw your attention to the latest Team UT-Battelle 5k race listed
on ORNL Today. It benefits a United Way Agency, The Boys & Girls Clubs of
Roane County. The information is as follows:
A 5K and one-mile fun walk to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Roane County
will be held Saturday morning, Aug. 20 at the Roane State Community College
Roane County Campus, 276 Patton Lane, Harriman. Registration will begin at 7
a.m. with the race to get under way at 8 a.m. Cost is $25. Early registration
guaranteeing a race shirt has unfortunately already closed, but all others will
get a T-shirt while supplies last, and the registration cost will remain the
same and not go up.
Medals will be awarded as follows:
Top Male and Top Female then 1st, 2nd and 3rd in these age groups.
14-under
15-19
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60+
The event is a Team UT-Battelle activity. Team UT-Battelle participants can get
