Please see the below message concerning changes to Old Bethel Valley Road and traffic on it. Please pass the word to other runners, joggers, and cyclist! From ORNL Today: New traffic pattern at east portal Monday Large delivery vehicles will be routed onto Old Bethel Valley Road near ORNL's east portal beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, for security inspections, leaving existing traffic lanes open for ORNL staff and other visitors. The new inspection route will apply to all vehicles with a hauling capacity of at least five tons, including small moving vans or delivery trucks and larger vehicles. Those vehicles will not be permitted to access the Lab from the west end. Signs will direct trucks to the new route, which will lead to an inspection area near Hawk's Nest Road. Motorists on Bethel Valley Road should use particular caution just before the east end of the main ORNL campus, where trucks will be merging from Old Bethel Valley after their inspections. Thank you and be safe!
