2020 Do-it-Yourself DOE Mile Foot Race
What: The 2020 DOE Laboratories Virtual 1-Mile Foot Race.
When: Oct. 1 - Oct. 7
Who: Employees, spouses and dependents
How: Virtual -- measure out one mile in your neighborhood, track, etc and go
run/walk - then post your time.
Participants will complete a walking or running mile on their own and report
their time here. Sandia National Labs will combine results from all labs to
determine overall standings.
Twelve labs participated in the 2019 DOE Mile, collectively bringing a record
breaking 1,232 participants. Jefferson Lab amassed some 400 (280 staff)
participants in last year's race. Let's see how many participants we can get
and bring home a victory.
Here are the rules:
Open to DOE lab employees, spouses, children
Participants will measure out a 1-mile distance on an outdoor course
Complete/time your 1-mile run/walk and provide event/time on the Registration
