Dear Ute, you may try this. It's a piece of java script that cuts the email address into pieces in the source, but shows it as a complete and functional address on the web. I use it on our IBL site too and it has never created any problems (so far). And it's very simple! <script language=javascript> var email1 = "eddy.teenstra"; var email2 = "wur"; var email3 = ".nl"; document.write("<a href=" + "mail" + "to:" + email1 + "@" + email2 + email3 + ">" + email1 + "@" + email2 + email3 + "</a>") </script> Best regards Eddy Teenstra -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: orgprints-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx namens UTE WILLIGES Verzonden: ma 13-2-2006 15:59 Aan: orgprints@xxxxxxxxxxxxx CC: Onderwerp: [orgprints] leader information in facility entries Dear all, When entering the facility data into the orgprints mask there is a field asking for the leaders of the facility. Several research farms e.g. have independent leaders being entered here. After uploading the information into the archive the leaders do not appear under the facility information (see http://orgprints.org/5944/ and http://orgprints.org/7096/ ). Several german facilities are entered by the administrative staff under a personal or University account but not the account of the facility leader. So it is important to make the leader visible and to allow to put a contact e-mail in addition to the person who entered the information. So far we have avoided to put an e-mail address on the information page protecting it from search robots. How can we solve this issue? Kind regards Ute ===== This email is from the Organic Eprints help list Subscribers can send emails to orgprints@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Unsubscribe etc. at //freelists.org/list/orgprints Archives at //freelists.org/archives/orgprints =====
