Dear Annamaria,

I have updated the institution tree and you should be able to see the new
entries it from tomorrow.

What I forgot to mention in my mail below is, that, in a first step, it would
be good if for all institutions in the organic eprints institution tree an
organisation / institution entry would be entered, including a summary of the
institution's organic activities. I could then take the information from there
for the database.

Thank you very much and kind regards

Helga

referring to our previous message on information updating can you please
update the list of Italian country/organizations and the list of Italian
funders/programmes to be inserted into funders/programmes item of project
mask; the latter list is not correct!?

We'd like also to have an idea about the criteria to accept records on
general topics like: studies on environment biodiversity,
microbiology, etc., not directly referring to OF but in some way may be! for
exemple look at the following record:

7011: The role of ectomychorrizal fungi in nitrogen acquisition in
California oak woodlands. [Le rôle des champignons ectomycorhiziens dans l'
acquisition de l'azote dans la chênaie en Californie.] deposited by IAMB;
could it be "relevant to research in organic agriculture" as cited in
Orgprints policy??
It is the second one that we have received, the first on comparison of
environment biodiversity in Bosnia-Herzegovina before and after the war has
been rejected because it seemed a too general study on ecology of those
lands with very few useful info for OF.
We are afraid of diluting to much useful information stored in the archive
if accepting too general topic studies, what do you think about that?
Any experience/advice is welcome!
Kind regards.
