Ok. I have been trying to track down the best way to migrate from windows
to linux. From reading what I can find on the metalink, it appears that I
cannot just do an rman restore from windows to linux, but I can do an
active database duplication, is that correct? It doesnt really make sense
to me that I can do one but not the other. This is 11.2.0.4 to 12.1.0.2
ideally, but if necessary I can go 11.2.0.4 to 11.2.0.4.
