If the user is not an owner you could generate the create user with grants, 
roles, and system privileges so you can just drop and re-create the username.

If the user is an owner then you have to decide if you should just live with 
the setting since as David posted the user still needs a system privilege to 
create an actual edition.  Otherwise you are looking at having to save all the 
user objects and recreating them which seems like a lot of work just to change 
a user setting.

I have a user that I accidently checked to enable editions.  How do I change 
that?  I found it in the dba_users view but am trying to find the underlying 
tables that holds that column.  Or if there is another way to return it to the 
N state for that particular user......
