Looks like this doc might be of help: Steps for Manual De-installation of
Oracle Spatial (Doc ID 179472.1)
It doesn't mention trigger issues directly but it seems there is a process to
follow for getting rid of the spatial option/user.

I am trying to drop the user mdsys and get the following error:

How do I get rid of this user?
